Detailed Description
The Tangem Wallet 2-card set comprises two credit-card-sized hardware wallets that use Near Field Communication (NFC) to connect with your smartphone. Each card contains a secure element chip where private keys are generated and stored securely—they never leave the hardware.
Unlike most hardware wallets, Tangem uses a seedless security model. Instead of a written recovery phrase, access and recovery are based on physical backup cards. You manage your assets through the Tangem mobile app (iOS & Android), which allows you to send, receive, and swap cryptocurrencies by simply tapping your card against your phone.
This 2-card set includes one primary card and one backup card. If the primary card is lost or damaged, the second card restores access to your wallet. This physical redundancy replaces the need for a traditional seed phrase while keeping the setup straightforward.
The Tangem ecosystem supports over 16,000 cryptocurrencies and tokens, integrating seamlessly with services to buy, sell, and interact with DeFi applications directly from the app.
